'Night position'36 hours per week within resource team. Shift hours are 7pm-7:30am.
Preferred candidates will have 1yr previous experience preferrably within a hospital environment as well as a valid CNA certification.

Responsibilities
- Provides assistance in activities of daily living and completes necessary tasks to promote patient health. Provides basic hygiene with assistance appropriate to the patient's level of function. Assists patients in meeting their basic nutritional needs while following current diet orders, precautions and restrictions. Assists patients with elimination needs appropriate to their level of function. Assists patients in maintaining an optimum level of mobility through ROM, ambulation, transfers and turns, and cough and deep-breathing exercises.
- Collects patient data and specimens. Obtains vital signs, heights and weights, and other delegated measurements per area policy and standards of care. Collects specimens according to policy and procedure. Reports abnormalities and/or changes to the RN/LPN.
- Recognizes and reports to the RN/LPN changes in the patient's health status and responses to treatment. Promotes continuity of care by accurately and completely communicating to other caregivers the status of patients for which care is provided.
- Performs procedures and uses equipment as delegated by the RN/LPN consistent with demonstrated competencies.
- Documents objective data and routine aspects of patient treatment in an accurate, timely and legible manner.
- Maintains a clean and safe environment. Maintains a clean, orderly and well-stocked environment. Follows safety standards in all aspects of performance of the above functions, reports/removes unsafe equipment and attends safety education sessions.
- Nursing Assistant training or experience required;
- Previous acute care or rehab experience preferred.
- Effective communication skills, ability to stand for long periods of time, stoop, bend, lift to 50#.
