Volunteers of America of Wisconsin has five beautiful homes in Kenosha, Milwaukee and Waukesha that serve a variety of different needs. We seek to empower individuals to remain independent in caring for themselves for as long as possible, and when our residents begin to need more assistance we're always there! Our facilities offer private rooms and individualized care from highly trained care providers. Each property has an on-site manager who is specially trained to meet the needs of residents with a "person centered" approach.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma plus one year of successful work experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule
- All applicants must have a valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and reliable childcare (if applicable).
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player
- Computer experience including Microsoft Office
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written Applicants must be able to travel to our
- Downtown Milwaukee location for interview and up to nine days of training.
