Fill-in Nanny/Babysitter - Uniondale, NY
Description
We are looking for a Nanny/Babysitter to fill-in when both my husband and I are unavailable due to work schedules (we normally share the child care responsibility for our 2yr old and 3 month old).
Most likely, it would be either a Wednesday or a Thursday, but not every single week. It could also end up being another day during the week. The hours would be roughly 7am to 6:30/7pm.
The job entails the caretaking of our toddler, Lalina, and newborn, Coral, so it is essential that the caregiver be experienced with this kind of scenario. It requires a lot of energy, endless patience, gentility, caring and creativity. Our girls are well-behaved, but the combination of ages and mix of needs is challenging. It can be a lot of fun, too!
Responsibilities include, basic meal preparation for our toddler, bottle feeding of newborn, diaper changing, potty practice with toddler, light dishwashing, and of course, playing with both girls, keeping them entertained and stimulated throughout the day.
We would love to establish a long-term relationship with the right caregiver so that our girls can really get comfortable with you.
We would prefer someone that has training or certification in First Aid and CPR. Some college education is preferred, but we are open to caregivers with High School only and experience.
Love of children, open-mindedness and a caring, gentle nature are most important to us!
