Baby Sitter Needed ASAP, Washington, DC
Monday, 9/13/2010 through Tuesday, 9/13/2011
Help! I'm due with my third child in three weeks and my current baby sitter just found out that she will be unable to work due to a medical condition. I'm looking for someone to start immediately. I have two other daughters, ages 4 and 2, that are in need of someone energetic, playful, and creative (of course, responsible, too). If you like acting silly and can cook pasta and grilled cheeses, they will love you! The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience with both newborns and toddlers. Other requirements include: a valid driver's license, fluent English, a comfortable ability to drive around DC, and a proficient swimmer. A non-smoker is a must.
I am a stay-at-home mom so this position offers a lot of flexibility. If you need a personal day or want to adjust your schedule to take a class, I can usually accommodate those needs. We travel approximately 6 weeks out of the year. There is no requirement that you must travel with us, but we would like someone who has the flexibility to travel should we need it. Occasionally, my husband and I have to travel without our kids (happens 2 times a year) so we will need someone that is willing to stay in our home for a weekend with the kids when these events arise. We live in the NW neighborhood of Kalorama with plenty of parking. There is also access to metro rail and bus nearby, if needed. We are within walking distance to a great park, have access to great restaurants, and live nearby to several young families with kids. So play dates are always easy to set up. If you're interested in the position, please contact me. I'm hoping to hire someone within the next two weeks.
