Silverado Senior Living is always looking for talented and compassionate Caregiver Assistants to join our Assisted Living community care team in Scottsdale. As a Caregiver Assistant you will actively engage residents in a meaningful way to add value to their lives.
Caregiver Assistants will assist Certified Caregivers by performing non-caregiving duties for residents including
- Do hair and/or makeup for the residents
- Escort residents to and from activities
- Empty trash and hampers from neighborhoods
- Stock and tidy rooms, make beds and mark laundry as needed
- Serve meals, bus and clear tables when the resident is finished, and maintain the hydration cart
- Maintain contact with flex care residents
- Redirect/one on one for behavioral residents
- Turn down beds for the evening
Candidates of choice will have the following skills and background
- Previous direct care experience, preferably with memory care patients.
- Drivers license, insurance and reliable transportation.
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Must clear a criminal background check, physical and a drug screen.
