Position Summary
The Caregiving staff members are required to be, at a minimum, a Certified Nursing Assistant. The Caregiving staff provide 24-hour a day personal care and supervision to meet a resident’s unique needs, including assistance with activities of daily living, assistance with adherence to complex medication regimens, meal preparation/nutrition adherence, providing a clean and orderly home and laundry. Caregivers also help transport and assist residents with medical appointments and weekly recreation.

Minimum Education and Experience
- Licensed CNA, CMA or MA, or above in the State of California with at least two years of experience in the health care field, preferably in a licensed residential setting.
- Knowledge of HIV/AIDS is desired.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to understand regulations, policies and procedures
- Sensitivity to working with culturally diverse populations.
- Bilingual / Spanish a plus.
- Computer proficiency preferred
- Positive attitude towards caring for those with special needs
- Detailed oriented
Other Requirements
- Completion of a physical exam, TB test, and criminal record check prior to employment.
- CPR Certification
- First Aid Certification
- Must possess and maintain a valid California driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record
