Type of candidate looking for: Hands on, happy, energetic person. Experience working with preschool age. Available to live in home to support Mom's business travel. Help maintain household and ensure children are loved, bathed, listened to, and cared for.

Job responsibilities

• Take 5 yr old to bus stop. Care for 2 yr old during day.
• Feed boys in the morning and night when (Mom is away).
• Pick up from school. Help with homework. Take walks, play outside. Teach new games, arts and crafts.
• Take to doctor appointments when mom is not available.

I am looking for a full-time baby sitter for my 2 1/2-year-old and also an infant (will be 3 months) starting in December. I am currently on maternity leave and return to work full time on Dec. 6th. I am starting the search a little early so that there is time to introduce my children to their new sitter and also make sure I find the right person. The hours will be Monday-Friday from about 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. I can bring them to your home or you can come to mine. Only interested in non-smokers, CLEAN, friendly and people who truly enjoy being around children.
I would love to find someone that is able to watch both of my children until they reach preschool age.

Job description
Grandhaven Living Center in Lansing, is looking for caring and compassionate caregivers to provide care for the elderly, at an Assisted Living in Lansing. We are very dedicated to our residents and are looking for people who want more than just a job. A person who is interested in this position, must be able to complete the following position requirements

• Assist residents with bathing, hair care, mouth care, nail care and dressing, etc.
• Assist residents with ambulation including reminding and supporting.
• Assist and encourage residents to eat and take sufficient fluids and snacks.
• Assist residents with turning, repositioning, toileting, and personal hygiene (includes monitoring of bowel and bladder incontinence).
• Observe and report resident behavior, condition changes including weight change and signs of injury or neglect.
• Participate in or lead leisure activities as planned by activities coordinator.
• Assist and remind residents to participate in facility activities.
• Assist with all aspects of kitchen and dining room tasks associated with resident meals, including prep work, serving, cleaning up, setting tables, taking out trash, etc.
• Perform general housekeeping/laundry tasks and related duties as assigned.
• Have experience with medication management in a long term care environment (not required for a resident caregiver position, but is for a resident care specialist).
