Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA, Right at Home - Tyler, TX

  • Performs non-medical services and activities per instructions listed in the Client Home Record which may include, but not limited to: Personal Care services such as ambulation assistance, bathing & showering, continence care & toileting, changing briefs, transfers & positioning, taking vitals, skin care, hair care & shampooing, mouth & denture care, shaving with electric razor, dressing, feeding, Alzheimer’s & Dementia care, Parkinson’s care, and Diabetic meal planning.
  • Performs Companionship services as described in the Caregiver/Companion job description.
  • Performs Homemaking activities as described in the Caregiver/Companion job description.
  • Prepares meals and snacks for client according to client/family and supervisor’s instructions.
  • Provides companionship for the client including: accompanying client on walks, trips to social/recreational activities, assistance with hobbies, etc.
  • The CNA is responsible for accurate, detailed written documentation of service provided.
  • Primarily works in Client’s place of residence, travel required.
  • Must have a CLEAN Background Check and a clean driving record, valid driver’s license, and use of an insured dependable automobile.
  • On-going training provided with opportunities for advancement.
Job Requirements
  • Work hours available: 12 hour days, 12 hour nights, part time hours, and 2 to 5 Consecutive Day Live-Ins.
Qualifications Include
  • Caring, Compassionate, Dependable.
  • Must have CLEAN background, a reliable vehicle with a clean driving record.
  • 18 years or older.
  • Submit an updated TB test to the office annually.
  • Must have TB Test results less than one year old.
